| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept credit and debit card payment. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to be delivered. Back ordered items are not charged for until they are ready to be delivered. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. When you have completed your order a confirmation email will be sent to you, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of an increase in price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
| Shipping And Handling Our products are sometimes measured and priced according to their weight, and the weight of the produce may vary slightly from that ordered. You will be charged for, and invoiced for, the precise amount that we supply, and we will use our best endeavours to be as close as we can to your order. The amount delivered may be slightly more than or slightly less than the order, but not materially so. All products offered by us are subject to occasional changes in price. This is particularly likely with fruit and vegetable items which are subject to seasonal changes. Where we offer free range meat or fresh fish, we buy specifically to your order. We cannot accept cancellations or variations at short notice. If you decide to cancel a meat or fish order we will do our best to sell the product to other customers but if we are unable to do so, we will not be able to offer you a refund. |
| Delivery Schedule Orders will be delivered on the day(s) specific to your area. The exact time of delivery cannot be guaranteed but we will aim to deliver between 9.00am and 7.00pm on the day we deliver to your area. All deliveries will be made by our own drivers. You are responsible for making suitable arrangements to receive your delivery and for giving us suitable instructions as to where to leave it. In the event that your delivery is stolen from your doorstep or damaged wilst there, we do not accept any liability. We will make every effort to carry out your instructions as to where to leave the box. We will endeavour to keep your delivery day the same, but if necessary may have to change it either temporarily or permanently, in which case we will tell you if we need to do so. If we are unable to deliver your order to you, or have to deliver late due to circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, traffic delays or vehicle breakdown, then we will contact you and, if you wish, you may cancel your delivery and we will fully reimburse you. We cannot however accept any liability for any inconvenience or loss that this causes. We will not charge you for incorrect products that you have not ordered or products that are not a reasonable substitute. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
| Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. |
| Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. |
| Guarantee Your satisfaction with our produce is our primary aim. However we are supplying fresh food which has a limited life so we do specify that any sub standard produce is reported immediately you are aware of it, and no later than twenty four hours after delivery. Most produce should be refrigerated as soon as practicable after delivery. If there is any shortage please call us to report that as soon as possible. |
